Rats
One of the UK’s most abundant pests, whether the black rat (Rattus Rattus) or the more common brown rat (Rattus Norvegicus). Rats breed every 21 days and can cause significant structural damage, including an increased fire risk due to chewing through wiring.
Squirrels
Whilst often thought of as an outside pest (which can still be an issue due to digging up plants and stripping tree bark!), squirrels can also cause a lot of mess and destruction when they choose to nest inside.
Mice
Like rats, mice seek out warm shelter, squeezing through the smallest gaps and using their expert climbing skills to nest inside your property. As with all rodents, mice’s teeth grow continually, meaning they naturally gnaw at their surroundings, causing ongoing damage.

I rang Wendy from Gold Standard pest control at 4.45pm in floods of tears as I had a mouse infestation. By 6pm Rhys was at my house to sort the problem. He set traps and gave me lots of advice. Later that evening, I received a message from Wendy checking I was ok. Rhys carried out a further 3 visits doing a full assessment each time with a written report.
